look in my defense ya'll coming up with names is really really hard okay... but it's decently fleshed out. i love this creature
i've been calling it cat as a placeholder name so until i come up with a proper name, that's what i'll be using!
we ignore the typos of lot of this was written while i was tipsy thank yew

cat is part of a trio i made inspired by the oh hellos, the paper kites, and the crane wives songs. they're D&D-ish and have a pretty basic initial storyline but i like to think they're sorta cool as characters!
it/its. roughly early 20's, hard to tell. cat is based off of a panther. it's humanoid kinda with the lowerhalf of its arms and legs covered in fur and more animal like, such as paws. has a tail and a stripe of fur going up it's back. cat has very faint striped markings on its torso and shoulders
it has dumb little panther ears and most feline qualities you'd expect. however, it has a split tongue that functions much like a snakes. why?? uhm. it's cool
cat is tall, about 6'8". it's lanky though. scrawny. got what looks like short black hair but then it pulls out the long braid that reaches aroud its waist. idk guys it's's just weird like that
its eyes are weird and green. light bright green. like dude get some contacts. wtf. same pupils you'd expect from a house cat

cat is its world's version of a druid from D&D, specifically a mix of circle of the moon and circle of the stars. if you're a nerd you get it. if not. uhm. sorry!
cat can shapeshift into felines of its choosing. it's harder to do when it's calmer, it only really shapeshifts in combat bc the emotions and danger make it easy. though, a lot of work goes into not being too emotional because it can get a lotta wonky
cat also has a lot of light related magic. hah you thought i was gonna make a black cat oc with dark magic didnt you? well. youre right in a way. im not that orginal okay..
cat's magic comes from the constellations canis minor and major. since they're dog constellations, using light magic makes its animal related abilties weaker. its claws dull, vision gets worse, and so on. however, the magic is worth it. most times
said magic includes rays or bolts of light or little orbs or just radiating light that hurts. or a lot more. cat has two main battle techniques :: using magic from a distance and using all the emotions to counter the dull affect it has on its animal traits, or going straight in as a big cat and fucking shit up and then backing away with magic.

cat isn't the nicest but it also isnt a dick. it tries not to care about people or anything really and acts indifferent, which upsets others. and it does care about a lot but showing that = bad to cat so it tries not to show it. it’s always a little grumpy and irritable but less so during the night. nocturnal creature forced awake during the day. smh
