- "pastes" refers to the way in which information is hosted on this site. Pastes are created by users, and are what you'll likely be reporting here.
Submitting a Removal Request
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law which serves to protect copyrighted content by criminalizing the reproduction and distribution of copyrighted material. Copyrighted content is not allowed to be distributed on sentrytwo, and all material found to be in a violation of this policy will be immediately removed.
A request can be submitted to have material removed using the "report" feature available on all "pastes" hosted on Stellular. In your report, be sure to detail the following:
- Who you are
- This must include your name, email address, telephone number and physical address.
- Who you represent
- This should include your company name and physical address (if applicable). If you're reporting on behalf of yourself, say that. Your information should already be included in the previous step.
- The web address of the infringing paste
- Your physical or electronic signature
When you a file a DMCA report, you acknowledge all information provided to be truthful.
You can access the report feature through the "More" button located in the bottom bar of the paste. Reports are formatted using Markdown formatting. If you do not know how to do that, see below to see how you can send an email instead.
Once you have provided all of this information, you can press the "Go" button, which will post your report. Please allow 3-5 business days for your report to be reviewed. If all information provided is acceptable, the paste you referenced will be immediately removed and locked.
If you would prefer to send an email, you can email [email protected]. You will not receive a response, however your email will be reviewed in the same order as reports.
The user has 7 business days to submit a "counter" request. If their request is valid, their content may be reinstated.
Submitting a Removal Request (Media)
sentrytwo supports uploading media files (images) up to 50 MB. If you find that a media file hosted on sentrytwo is in violation of copyright protection, you can submit a DMCA request on the parent paste it is uploaded to using the steps above.
