New concept / story
A former surfer from Okinawa! A child prodigy who'd been surfing since he was young. He used to enter into competitions and was well known world-wide. When he was 16 he got into an accident on the water that resulted in him being unable to surf.

I'm giving them all Hmong names It's a stupid hobby now I HATE MY LIFE !! The names are formatted as "Hmong Spelling(English Spelling)"

Hmoo meaning stuff like "Luck", "Fortune", "Fate", or "Chance" | Nom meaning "Leader", "Royalty", "Official", or "Officer"
My chosen meanings are "Fate" and "Leader". Really, I like any off the meanings for Hmoo but I think "Fate" makes more sense for him!
Langa: Daus(Dao)
Meaning stuff like "Ice", "Frost" and "Snow". His is only one syllable cus I feel like it's just more like him

Reki: SimNcaig(SheeChai)
Sim meaning "Try", "Attempt", "Test", "Taste" or "Lifetime" and Ncaig meaning "Ember" or "Coal" ! I also wanted to use Liab (Lia) for it's "Red" and "Monkey" meanings as they both fit Reki very well lolol
My chosen meanings are "Lifetime" and "Ember" ! I also liked how the other meanings of Sim speak to parts of Reki's character
